Heartland Center for Spirituality in Great Bend will show the movie “Babette’s Feast” to conclude its spring Movies with a Message series. It will be shown at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at the Dominican Sister Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway Ave.
Babette is a Catholic French refugee woman who lives with two adult sisters in 19th century Denmark. The sisters’ father is pastor of a Protestant church. After he dies, they seek to honor his memory with a feast, which Babette volunteers to prepare. But what will she really do?
Refreshments will be served, and there will be discussion time after the movie. A freewill donation is requested.
