First Baptist Revival ends Friday

Friday is the final day of a three-day revival hosted by First Baptist Church in Great Bend. The public is invited to attend at 7 p.m. at the church, located at 1600 19th St. Local pastors have spoken each night. The theme for the revival is “No Boundaries.”

No prayer breakfast scheduled for Saturday

There will be no men’s prayer breakfast this Saturday, June 1, at the River of Life Church, 1219 Main St., in Great Bend. David LeRoy is the church pastor.


Church of the Nazarene presents ‘HayDay’

First Church of the Nazarene in Great Bend will present “HayDay,” a vacation Bible School for children from preschool through sixth grade, June 2-5.
Particpants will meet at the church at 5 p.m. Sunday to caravan to a local farm for a family kick-off celebration. All ages are invited. There will be hot dogs, chips and dessert. Rides are available for children whose parents are unable to attend.
VBS will meet from 6-8:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday for music, games, crafts, snacks and learning about God’s love. On Sunday morning, June 9, children at the church service will share what they have learned throughout the week.
