Mike Westerman will appear as Edgar Allan Poe to present “The Raven” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3400 21st St., Great Bend. Admission is free.
Westerman, a retired English teacher at Ellinwood High School, has portrayed master of the macabre Poe for several years at various local “haunts.” Julie Shields said the public is invited to join members of the church for an evening of horrifyingly good fun.
