The congregation of Trinity Lutheran Church invites the community and friends of Pastor Jim and Miriam Strasen to an open house celebration of their ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, in the Fellowship Hall, 2701 24th St. Come to reminisce and reflect on the 11-plus years they have nurtured and guided the congregation and served in our community.
Members said they want to celebrate the true care and consideration that Pastor Jim and Miriam have brought to the church and community. Their outreach and work have provided new avenues of worship, teaching and learning. They will be missed, but we pray for rich blessings and peace in this new phase of their life and ministry.      
The Strasens moved to Salina at the end of December to be considered for an interim pastor position and to be nearer to grandchildren and family.
