Christian author and singer Terry Tripp will be the featured speaker at the next Great Bend Aglow Lighthouse. The meeting starts at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Perkins Restaurant, 2920 10th St. The public is invited to come early for coffee and social time at 9 a.m.
According to the biography on Tripp’s website, www.terrytripp.com, millions of people are familiar with the ministry of Terry Tripp through his family, the Laverne Tripp Family. He began traveling with them at age 3 and sang with them for over 20 years on TV, radio and live appearances. He recorded his first music project at age 5.
While with his family, Terry Tripp says he saw over 600,000 people make the decision to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. He was seen weekly on TBN for 20 years and is a frequent guest speaker on Christian TV networks.
Tripp has shared the stage with many top Christian musicians, such as Donnie McClurkin, Alvin Slaughter, Kurt Carr, Vicki Winans, Crystal Lewis and The Isaacs. He was a guest at “Believers’ Conference” in Sunrise, Fla., hosted by The Faith Center. Other speakers included Dr. Kenneth Copeland, Dr. Creflo Dollar and Bishop Henry Fernandez.
In 1997, he graduated from Faith is the Victory Bible College. He has written seven books and released seven solo projects to date.
Terry Tripp Ministries include outreach to children in the southern part of India, with two homes, four churches, a public school and a Bible college, and a ministry that sends copies of his book, “Shut the Hell Up,” to prisons.
