Riley Elementary School, 1515 10th St., will celebrate its 100th birthday from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the school.
“Everyone is invited to attend the 100th anniversary community reception,” said JoAnn Blevins, principal. Cake will be served. Sixth graders will be giving tours of the building during the come-and-go event. Items and letters sharing memories from former students and teachers will be displayed.
“It should be a fun time for everyone and we hope to see lots of our former students and teachers.”
