Tim Folkerts, director of the Barton Community College Planetarium, will present the free program “Science Magic” at 7 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the Planetarium. Folkerts said he will demonstrate some of the “cool science magic tricks” that he presents at Jack Kilby Science Day. Watch objects float, disappear, change color and otherwise defy expectations, and learn about the science behind the “magic.” Many of the tricks demonstrated can be done at home with little or no cost.
Weekly planetarium programs will be held at 7 p.m. on Mondays through May 7.
