Sixth-grade band will present concert Tuesday

Months of hard work will culminate Tuesday night, April 18, at 7 p.m. as approximately 95 students of the Great Bend Sixth Grade Band join forces for their annual concert at the Great Bend High School gym. Schools represented are Eisenhower, Jefferson, Lincoln, Park, Riley, Holy Family and Central KS Christian Academy.
The band will perform 11 selections in a variety of musical styles, including “Old MacDonald Had a Band,” “Mozart Melody,” “Two Bridges March” and “Power Rock.”
Directors are JoAnn Suchy, Holy Family; Debbie Koch, Central KS Christian Academy; Isaac Enochs, Eisenhower; Don Regehr, Lincoln and Park; and Mark DeWald, Jefferson and Riley.
The concert is free and open to the public.
