A man was stabbed shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday after two subjects reportedly kicked in his door at 2231 Morton Street and started an altercation with him.
According to information from the Great Bend Police Department, officers were dispatched to the residence at 2:58 a.m. Upon arrival, they located Roy Cline, 52, of Great Bend, with a stab wound to his side and back.
The victim told officers that Amber Cline, 28, of Great Bend, and an unknown male subject kicked in the door to his residence, and a scuffle ensued. During the scuffle, the victim was stabbed. Both suspects then fled the scene. Officers were able to locate Amber Cline and placed her under arrest. The victim was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital where he was released the following day.
Cline was booked into the Barton County Detention Center on charges of aggravated burglary and aggravated domestic violence battery, with bond set at $75,000.
According to Capt. Scott Bieberle with the Police Department, the GBPD is still trying to identify the second suspect. The case is still under investigation.
