Great Bend Alive will present Final Fridays on Forest, sponsored this month by the University of Kansas Health System. 

The event will take place from 5-9 p.m. on Forest Avenue, from Williams to Main,  today, June 30. The street will close to through traffic at 1 p.m.

June’s theme is Celebrating the Arts. Barton Arts Movement will have its Art Alley Showcase again this year. There will be activities for the kids and some giveaways.

Come after work with your friends, family or coworkers and sit outside with a beverage in your hand and enjoy some great food, great music, and a great time. Food and alcohol vendors will be available. 

Alcohol will be served in the district, but cannot be brought into the district from outside. No smoking and no pets are allowed in the district.

This is a family atmosphere; feel free to bring the whole gang. There will be security and clean portable bathrooms.
