The City of Great Bend announced a street closure that will affect traffic for up to a week. Weather permitting, work will begin at 8 a.m. Monday, October 21, on 18th Street between Hubbard and Baker.

APAC, the Hutchinson firm handling waterline replacement in Great Bend, will be shutting down that portion of 18th Street for manhole replacement and the work could last up to a full week.

“The City of Great Bend appreciates the patience of motorists and residents while this work is being performed,” a news release stated. Anyone with questions about this project is advised to contact the wastewater division by calling 620-793-4170.
