ELLINWOOD — Exciting summer activities are coming up at Ellinwood School/Community Library!  The Summer Library schedule is as follows:


3, 4, and 5 year olds: Tuesdays, 9:00-9:45 a.m. beginning June 4

OR Wednesdays, 11:00–11:45 a.m. beginning June 5

OR Thursdays, 10:00-10:45 a.m. beginning June 6


Kindergarten & 1st grade: Tuesdays, 10:00-10:45 a.m. beginning June 4

or Thursdays, 11:00-11:45 a.m. beginning June 6


2nd and 3rd grade: Tuesdays, 11:00-11:45 a.m. beginning June 4

or Thursdays, 9:00-9:45 a.m. beginning June 6


4th, 5th, & 6th grade: Tuesdays, 1:00 to 1:45 p.m., beginning June 4


Please call Ellinwood School/Community Library to enroll. Summer Library Program is in session for six weeks. Coming up, the Cosmosphere will be presenting “It’s Not Rocket Science” on June 10 at 11 a.m.  

Coding with Joseph Kern, Tuesdays, June 11, 18, and 25, at 2 p.m. for students in 3rd through 8th grades. 

The Kansas Wetlands Education Center will be presenting “Celestial Creatures, Featuring animals in the stars” on June 19 at 10 a.m.  

“Share A Story” is part of Smoky Hills Public Television’s mission to encourage children to read. Each year libraries around the viewing area invite SHPTV to share information about PBS Kids programs, read a story, teach the children a craft project and send each one home with a book for them to enjoy with their families. They will be presenting on July 3 at 10 a.m. for youth ages 3-5.
