What lurks in the water at Cheyenne Bottoms? Jean Aycock at the Kansas Wetlands Education center has the answer. The public is invited to a free presentation at the Cheyenne Bottoms Naturalists meeting, from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 10, at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center.
“Have you ever looked closely at a patch of grass?” Aycock asks. Participants will spend the morning exploring the tiny worlds around the KWEC.
“Come and go as you wish, stay all morning or as long as you like,” Aycock said of this free, family friendly event.
For more information call the KWEC’s toll-free telephone number, 877-243-9268.
