Two injured in I-70 rollover

Two people were injured Wednesday when a pickup went off Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County. The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the crash at 5:14 p.m. at Mile Maker 210, or 600 feet from 6th Road.

A 2006 Cadillac truck driven by Dalton Oliver, 71, of  Panama City Beach, Fla., was traveling east on I-70 when it left the roadway, entered the median and struck a culvert. Oliver over-corrected to the right and the vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its wheels facing west.

The passenger in the vehicle, Roslyn Oliver, 70, of Panama City Beach, Fla. was also injured in the crash. They were taken to Salina Regional Hospital for their injuries. They were wearing their seat belts.
