KHP patch

Two vehicles collided Wednesday on K-156, one mile east of Rozel in Pawnee County.

Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 2007 Ford F-150 driven by Colby A. Ryan, 15, from Kinsley, was northbound on 270th Ave. at 7:52 a.m. and failed to stop at a stop sign. His vehicle struck a 2018 Nissan van driven by James B. Kirby, 85, of Larned, who was westbound on K-156. Both vehicles came to rest in the ditch.

Both drivers were taken to Pawnee Valley Community Hospital in Larned with suspected serious injuries. Kirby was wearing a seat belt and Ryan was not.
