Great Bend USD 428 will hold community feedback meetings on Tuesday, Dec. 4, as the administration, school board and community steering committee members continue to look at a master plan for future building needs.
As USD 428 considers a 20-30 year Master Facilities Plan, the community is invited to learn more about the identified needs and proposed solutions. An architect from SJCF will provide a 45-minute presentation followed by a live survey to capture community feedback before the final draft of the plan is prepared for the Board of Education.
Meetings will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Great Bend Senior Center, 2005 Kansas Ave., and at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Great Bend High School Auditorium, 2027 Morton St.
The Spanish-speaking community may attend a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Riley Elementary School, 1515 10th St. That presentation is being translated into Spanish.
There will also be a noon “lunch and learn” program with limited seating at the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce.
