Area residents are urged to “Give Local. Support Local” through United Way of Central Kansas’s newest raffle drawing. 

For $10 per ticket or six for $50, participants can be entered to win more than $1,700 in gift cards to businesses in Barton and Pawnee counties. 

The winner will be drawn Saturday, June 17, “so, don’t wait any longer,” said UWCK Executive Director Charell Owings.

Thirty-five local businesses donated gift cards to UWCK for the prizes. These businesses span the area from Hoisington and Ellinwood to Larned and Great Bend.

“Businesses across the region, from Hoisington and Ellinwood to Larned and Great Bend, have generously donated gift cards to UWCK,” Owings said. “By participating in this raffle, you are not only getting a chance to win but also giving back to your community.”

Funds raised with this raffle will support the community-impact work of UWCK, she said. “These important programs, such as Laundry Love, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Box of Love, and Reality U, impact the lives of countless members of our community.”
