Virtual Contest - Suns Up – Guns Up: Farmers, show those farmer tans and those arm guns. Pose in front of your favorite truck, tractor, field or home. Fun for all and some really nice prizes.

Virtual Car Show: Proud of that car, truck or motorcycle? Show it off for all to see and the public will vote on their favorite. Prizes to be awarded.

Fair Food Bingo: Missing some of that fair food you have waited all year for? Well we found similar foods at various locations around Barton County. Go out and explore and enjoy on your own. Fill out the card and send it back per instructions for a chance to win.

Pet Costume Contest: Do you have a nifty outfit you like to put on your pet? How about yourself as a companion. Check out the contest and have some fun and let the public decide who has the coolest costume.

Chalk it Up: Do you like to draw and doodle on the sidewalk? Here is your chance to show your skills. Complete your masterpiece, take a picture and upload it. There is also a Family class so you can get everyone involved.

Color Page Contest: Stuck at home and nothing on TV? As kids we all like to color but coloring is now the rage with adults too. There are two divisions with some really cool prizes. So take some time to relax and bring a page to life. The page is provided, you color and take a picture and send it. It’s that easy.

Favorite T-shirt Contest: Everyone has that favorite T-shirt with that cool slogan on it. Here is the opportunity to show it off. Follow the instructions and show the world your favorite T.

Virtual Talent Show: You have the talent, we have the platform. If you like to sing, dance, juggle, tell jokes or are part of a band here is your chance to perform on the big stage for the world to see, well at least Barton County. Videos will be posted on the fair’s secure website to be voted on by the public. Winners will be announced and some really cool prizes will be offered.

More contests will be added as the fair gets closer. All contests can be entered on line at bartoncountyfair.com. Click on the button you wish to enter and follow instructions.

More Virtual Activities

Just for fun color pages for kids and adults, word searches, crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles will be added each day of the fair. There will also be fair activities that the whole family can do together.

In-Person Fun

Cruise Barton County Poker Run: Join us for a trip through Barton County on the evening of July 10. Line up at the Expo Complex at 6:30 p.m. and leave by 7 p.m. for a 90-minute trip that will return to the complex. There will be five locations to pick up a card and create a winning hand. Pre-register before the deadline and you will receive a 6th card to help better your hand. Stay in your car; social distancing is encouraged for a fun evening for all.

Antique Tractor Pull: This classic has been around for each of the 29 years of the fair and this year is no exception. July 11th the fair association welcomes back the classics to show you that the old guys still have what it takes. Come see how farming was done in the day and they will show you they still have the horse power to get it done.

Livestock Shows: The 4-Hers have worked hard all year and the fair association  wanted to provide them with the opportunity to show their livestock. The schedule has changed this year to provide a safe environment for them to show. Even though these shows will be only for the 4-Hers and immediate family you will be able to view the show on the website during the event or after when your schedule allows you to do so.
