A Hutchinson man who was in a vehicle being pursued by Reno County Sheriff’s Office was injured Friday when the car crashed in Stafford County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 3:39 p.m. on U.S. 50, one-half mile west of Stafford.

A 2006 Pontiac G6 driven by Jordan Anthony Megyeri Thomas, 31, was westbound while being pursued when Thomas attempted to avoid tire deflation devices and lost control into the south ditch, striking a sign post and several trees. He was transported to the Stafford County Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
