An Osborne man died Saturday after the 1999 Dodge Ram truck he was driving went off K-181 in Osborne County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Shawn A. McKeon, 50, was taken to Osborne County Memorial Hospital following the crash at 8:25 a.m. The truck was traveling south on K-181, 0.09 mile north of U.S. 24, when it left the roadway and entered the east ditch. It continued traveling southeast through a field and vaulted off an embankment. The vehicle became airborne, struck three trees, struck the ground and overturned.

McKeon was not wearing a seat belt.
