A woman from Panama, Oklahoma, died Monday in a one-vehicle crash in Saline County, after the pickup her fiance was driving went off K-140. Kansas Highway Patrol reports Jason Kramer, 50, of Kanopolis, was driving the 1999 Mazda and lost control of it due to a flat tire. The pickup entered the ditch and rolled, ejecting both occupants from the vehicle.

His passenger was Lori A. Wilkett, 53. Neither Kramer nor Wilkett was wearing a seat belt. Kramer’s injuries were believed to be minor and he was transported to Salina Regional.

The crash occurred at 4:50 p.m. on K-140, 0.3 miles east of Reese Road (between Brookville and Bavaria) in Saline County.
