Fog contributed to Russell County crash

A truck driver was injured Saturday when he failed to stop at a stop sign at a dead end due to fog and drove into the ditch in Russell County, Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at 8:10 a.m. on May 6 at 176th and South County Road, or 10.5 miles south of 170 on 176th. 

The driver, Joshua Tair Vopat, 20, from Bunker Hill, was transported to the Russell County Hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries. He was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
