CONCORDIA – A Great Bend man died early Tuesday evening in a one-vehicle crash 13 miles southeast of Concordia in Cloud County, the Kansas Highway Patrol reported.

According to the KHP, Dennis Klima, 71, was traveling westbound on U.S. 24 at about 6:50 p.m. when a tire blew out on his 1982 Ford straight truck. It went off the road into the south field and rolled, coming to rest on its wheels.

Klima was taken to North Central Kansas Medical Center in Concordia where he was pronounced dead. He was not wearing a seat belt, the KHP reported.
