Barton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Larned man early Thursday morning after the discovery of suspected narcotics, including what they believe is LSD, during a traffic stop in Great Bend.

According to Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir, at about 3:46 a.m. Thursday, a BCSO deputy stopped a 2013 Chrysler 200 in the 5600 block of West 10th Street for speeding. During the course of the traffic stop, deputies determined the driver was driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Deputies also located what is believed to be LSD, a substantial amount of methamphetamine and prescription drugs as well as paraphernalia during the course of the investigation.

Andrew Decoudres, 32, of Larned, was arrested at the scene. He was booked on charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of a hallucinogenic substance with intent to distribute, possession of prescription drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia as well as interference with a law enforcement officer and driving under the influence, as well as various other traffic charges.

Decoudres is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
