Crime Stoppers

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. Monday and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, a red 1985 Honda CH-150 moped was stolen from a garage at 2703 Broadway in Great Bend. Loss was $1,500.

Barton County Sheriff

A motorist was driving north in the 300 block of SE 50 Ave. at 6:44 a.m. Tuesday when two deer ran out in front of the vehicle. He braked hard and hit one deer. The vehicle then slid into the ditch, rolling onto the passenger side.

 

Great Bend Police

A resident at 1105 Morton St. reported coming home a few minutes before 10 p.m. Tuesday night and finding a male in the residence stealing items. The subject ran from the area and was not located. Loss was $360.

A gas skip at 2337 Washington St. was reported at 12:53 p.m. Tuesday.

A leather coat and cigarettes were stolen from 4006 10th St., it was reported Tuesday.

Theft of a fire extinguisher from a bus at the Senior Center was reported Tuesday.
