Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs on Wednesday. There were no fires.

Wednesday reports:
A vehicle driven by Laura Poblano was northbound on Morton St. and struck a vehicle driven by John Hatcher, who was eastbound on Broadway Ave., at 1:27 p.m.
A vehicle driven by Eneida Olivas was backing from a parking stall at 3:05 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Anna Jones, who was westbound on 12th St. near Garfield.
A vehicle driven by Nisha Trevino was southbound on Frey St. at 5:08 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Perfecto Poblano, who was westbound on Broadway.
A vehicle driven by Chad Romine was westbound on 10th St. at 5:20 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Chester Freeman, which was stopped in traffic.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 15 SW 40 Ave.
A license plate was stolen from a car at 5844 16th St. Terrance.
A car window was 1101 Kansas Ave. was broken.
A known person allegedly stole an individual’s change purse. The purse was located when the suspect was arrested on a traffic stop on Main St. Wednesday night. He was served a notice to appear in municipal court.
