Firefighters made five ambulance runs Saturday, one Sunday and nine Monday. There were no fires.

A red 1985 trailer belonging to Menges Rental was reportedly stolen from 914 Santa Fe in Ellinwood on Dec. 14 or 15.
Great Bend Police
Monday reports:
Someone shot the window on the walk-in door on the northeast corner of the building at 1515 10th St. Loss was $400.
A woman reported being kidnapped at gunpoint Monday morning, but it was determined she was hallucinating. The woman was taken into protective custody and evaluated. She was deemed not a danger.
A vehicle driven by Joan Rainbolt was westbound on 10th St. at 3:06 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by Monica Castillo-Nieto, who was southbound on K-96 turning east on to 10th. A passenger in the Rainbolt vehicle was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital with a laceration on her face.
A Toyota Prius and a Mercury Cougar collided on 10th St. near Burger King at 7:52 p.m. as one vehicle was turning a corner. The collision was called in by a third party.
