Barton County Sheriff
Monday reports:
About $5,000 worth of tools were stolen from a Foley Cat utility truck at 201 Houck St. in Pawnee Rock. Personal tools belonging to the reporting party were also taken.
Pumping unit weights and other items were stolen from NE 50 Road and NW 110 Ave.
$1,000 worth of copper wire was stolen from a Wheatland Electric substation at NW 20 Ave. and NW 30 Road on Feb. 2.
A license plate was stolen from a vehicle at 167 South U.S. 281.
Great Bend Police
A motorist in a blue Jeep drove off from 2716 10th St. without paying for fuel at 12:43 p.m. Monday.
An eastbound vehicle in the 4000 block of 10th St. struck another eastbound vehicle driven by Alex M. Lloyd at 4:43 p.m. and then left the area.
A motorist in a blue Honda passenger car drove off from 2302 10th St. without paying for fuel at 5:33 p.m.
Someone damaged the paint on a 1995 Dodge pickup at 1300 Madison St. Loss was $300.
Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.
