Firefighters made two Friday, four Saturday and three Sunday.

They responded to the Pizza Hut on 10th St. on Sunday to check on a possible gas smell.

Someone broke the front passenger window on a vehicle at 5824 16th St. Terrace, it was reported Friday. Loss was $200.

A gun case was found in a yard in the 1700 block of Lakin Ave. on Friday and booked as found property.

A burglary at 1924 Monroe St. was reported Friday. Someone broke into a shop and took $200 cash.

A case of identity theft was reported after someone allegedly used someone’s personal information to get electrical service.

At 3:12 p.m. Friday, a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that was stolen from Ellinwood was located in the river bed south of Pine St., near Second and Pine. A towing service impounded the vehicle.

At 3:12 p.m. Friday, an officer stopped a green Jeep with a stolen license tag in the 300 block of Third St. That vehicle was also impounded.

An aggravated burglary at 1723 Madison St. was reported at 6:01 p.m. Friday. Four boxes of shotgun shells were stolen from the residence. Loss was $40.

Two known people were served a notice to appear in municipal court for allegedly stealing food from a residence in the 200 block of Elm St.

Joy Wetig, Great Bend, allegedly damaged the residence at 2900 Gano St. She was located late Friday and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of criminal damage to property and driving with an open container. She was released after posting a $500 surety bond.

At 12:45 a.m. Saturday, a man reported someone in a red Chrysler 300M ramming his car on Frey St. and leaving the area.

Justin Peterson, 24, Great Bend, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for contempt of court at 10:46 a.m. Saturday at 2611 27th St. He was also charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a weapon and booked into the jail in lieu of bond.

At 8:26 p.m. Saturday, a motorist reported someone hitting his vehicle with an unknown objects while he was driving in the 1200 block of 10th St.

Two tires on a vehicle at 5925 Eisenhower Ct. were cut, it was reported Sunday.

Theft of a Hi-Point handgun from a residence at 2901 Morton St. was reported Sunday.

A vehicle driven by Drew Bosack was eastbound on 10th St. at 12:29 p.m. on Sunday and struck a vehicle driven by Razafimandimby Manase, who was also eastbound on 10th St. but stopped in traffic.
