Kansas Highway Patrol
Stacey J. Barker, 49, of Sterling was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center Friday evening after she fainted and fell off a motorcycle she was a passenger on in Reno County. The Yamaha motorcycle was driven by Donald E. Pearce, 59, of Sterling, who was not injured. The accident occurred at 9:22 p.m. at Plum St. and Molly Mall in Hutchinson. Both subjects were wearing helmets.

Great Bend Police
Police were dispatched to 2251 Williams St. at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, after people at the skateboard park reported an unknown male drove by and pointed a gun at them. The individual was not found.
A domestic disturbance/aggravated burglary at a Morton St. residence was reported at 3:47 a.m. Friday. Police were attempting to locate the suspect.
Theft of spray paint from the back of a truck at the Best Western Angus Inn, 2920 10th St., was reported early Friday morning.

Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Thursday. There were no fires.
A large grass fire northwest of Great Bend began shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday.

Barton County Sheriff
The sheriff’s office investigated an accident at 3:33 p.m. Thursday at 10th and Grant in Great Bend, involving a Ford Focus and a City of Great Bend truck.  Police reports show the drivers were Wendy West, who was westbound on 10th and struck the rear of the second vehicle, driven by Careen Adams, who was stopped in traffic. It was unclear from initial reports which driver was in which vehicle.
A vehicle hit a deer in the 500 block of North U.S. 281 around 5 p.m. Thursday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A one-vehicle rollover accident on NW 40 Road and North U.S. 281 was discovered at 10:57 p.m. Friday. A sport utility vehicle was in the ditch after hitting a deer, and although authorities believe the driver was a male who was injured, friends or family picked him up and the driver was no on-scene.
