Barton County Sheriff’s Office

A vehicle hit a deer in the 10 block of NW 60 Ave. at 5:50 a.m. Friday.

 

Great Bend Police

Thursday reports:

Someone entered a Dodge Durango at 2913 Quivira Ave. and took several items.

A window was broken at 1515 10th St.

A case was taken in the 2800 block of Forest Ave. after a woman reported her dog being "put down" by a neighbor’s dog.

An alleged aggravated battery in the 200 block of Pine St. was reported at 11 p.m., although the reporting party did not wish to prosecute.

Officers also filed a report on alleged stalking in the 3100 block of 16th St.

At 12:23 a.m. Friday it was reported that a vehicle at 808 Stone St. was burglarized. Stereo equipment was stolen.

 

Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made three ambulance runs on Wednesday. A fire alarm was activated at the Panther Athletic Center, 2424 19th St., but there was no fire.
