Great Bend Fire Department

Firefighters made seven ambulance runs on Tuesday. There were no fires.

 

Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer in the 600 block of NW 20 Ave. at 7:08 a.m. Tuesday.

A big piece of debris, possibly aluminum, fell of an unsecured trailer on East U.S. 56 at NE 27 Ave. Tuesday afternoon. Kansas Highway Patrol and Ellinwood Police Department also responded.

A motorist in a Pontiac Sunfire missed the curve at Ne 30 Road and NW 100 Ave. and rolled, around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. No one was injured.

 

Great Bend Police

A Chevy Trailblazer and an Oldsmobile Intrigue collided on Forest Ave. at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

Police were unable to find the source of "loud boom sound like a shotgun," reported from someone in the vicinity of 11th and Washington at 9:23 p.m.

Several items were reported missing from at shop at 2624 24th St. on Tuesday.
