Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made three ambulance runs Friday, seven Saturday and eight Sunday.
There was one false alarm Friday.
Firefighters responded to a fire in a metal shed at 1:35 p.m. Saturday at 172 School House Road. At 1:44 p.m. they were dispatched to 1215 Madison St. for unauthorized burning of limbs, and at 5:35 p.m. they responded to 192 SE First Ave., where limbs were burning. Chief Mike Napolitano said the latter was a controlled burn that was unauthorized due to the burning ban.

Barton County Sheriff
A piece of metal from a semi hit a truck in the 400 block of East U.S. 56, around 10 a.m. Friday.
A calf was reportedly stolen from 127 East U.S. 56.
A truck and car collided at 12:40 p.m. Friday on NE 30 Road and North U.S. 281.
At 1:45 a.m. Monday, BCSO received information about sexual molestation of a minor, alleged to have occurred between 2005 and 2007 in Galatia.

Great Bend Police
Vehicles driven by Eugene Bugner and Janice Eakin collided at 9:58 a.m. Friday in the 3800 block of Broadway Ave.
A Great Bend resident reported someone using his identification.
Lawn mower parts were reportedly stolen from 313 Maple St.
A known person was allegedly seen stealing items from Walmart around 5:14 a.m. Saturday.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a railroad sign on Fifth St.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle parked in the 2400 block of 10th St.
Two males stole ear phones and sun glasses from 2301 10th St. Suite A, it was reported Sunday.
Jaime Peschkia, 34, fell off a bicycle into some rocks in the 300 block of West Barton County Road at 10:27 a.m. Sunday and was transported to Great Bend Regional Hospital.
Vehicles driven by Pablo Martinez and David Contrerez collided at 1:35 p.m. Sunday at 401 Plum St.
Vehicles driven by Justin Hamit and Mario Aviles collided at 2:43 p.m. at Ninth and Baker. Aviles was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
An aggravated battery was reported from the Great Bend Regional Emergency Room, shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday. The victim reported being shot in the leg with a BB gun in the 1300 block of Lincoln St., by an unknown subject.
