Firefighters made six ambulance runs Thursday.
There were also two calls related to power poles or lines. (See related story.) On both calls the power company responded to correct the problem.
Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Wilma Pettijohn struck a parked vehicle in the 2400 block of 30th St. at 3:36 p.m. Thursday.
Vehicles driven by Juan Tapia and Larry Scott collided at 3:47 p.m. in the 4100 block of 10th St.
Vehicles driven by Larissa Richards and Tina Humphrey collided at 3:50 p.m. on 17th St. This was reported as an injury accident.
A jacket was reportedly stolen from 2716 24th St.
At 2:52 a.m. Friday, an officer located a 2002 Chevrolet Blazer, which was abandoned in the middle of the 1200 block of Jefferson St. The vehicle was returned to its owner; it had reportedly been stolen from 5907 Eisenhower.
Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle struck a carport at 4 NW 30 Road and left, it was reported Thursday.
A stop sign was down, early Friday on North U.S. 281 and NE 30 Road.
