Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made six ambulance runs on Thursday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 2415 Walnut Dr., it was reported Thursday.
A burglary was reported at 1110 Morphy St., Apt. 3. Clothing and jewelry were taken from the residence. Loss was $2,500.
Vehicles driven by Rachel Cregger and Edward Heier collided on 10th St. at 12:31 p.m. Thursday, after Cregger reportedly ran a red light. Minor injuries were reported.
A forgery at 2716 10th St. was reported. A Great Bend resident reported unknown persons writing checks on his account.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 1306 Wilson St.
At 12:54 a.m. Friday, theft of a red and white Yamaha 1000 sport bike from 801 Stone St. was reported.

Barton County Sheriff
A Chevrolet Suburban struck a deer on K-4 near milepost 133 near Claflin around 9:35 p.m. Thursday.
A vehicle hit a deer on K-96 and NW 80 Ave., about a mile before the Olmitz turnoff, around 11 p.m. Thursday.
