Great Bend Police
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a Ford Taurus parked on 17th St. on Thursday.
A Great Bend resident reported someone getting money from his debit account.
A known person allegedly stole $650 from an individual at 2943 Quivira Ave.
A narcotics violation arrest was made at 2:28 a.m. Friday at an undisclosed address on 10th St.
Barbara Naugle was driving west in the 3900 block of Broadway at 6:56 a.m. Friday and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Twila Birzer, who was also westbound.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters went to the 1500 block of Broadway Ave. at 11:45 a.m. Thursday to check a report of smoke coming from the roof of the house. There was no fire; the smoke was caused by the occupant running a water heater with a propane bottle.
At 1:24 a.m. Friday they checked a smoke smell in the 2200 block of Jackson Street. At 2:10 a.m. they responded to the 1000 block of Jackson where a fire was burning in an unattended chiminea.
Firefighters made six ambulance runs Wednesday and three Thursday.

Barton County Sheriff
Burglary of a shed at 111 Walnut Creek Circle was reported Thursday. Money was taken.
A vehicle hit a deer on U.S. 56 east of the K-156 junction.
