Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, four Saturday and seven Sunday.
At 8:36 a.m. Friday, units responded to 5609 Eisenhower for a smoke alarm that had been activated. Investigation found a faulty smoke detector.

Barton County Sheriff
Vehicles hit a deer at 12:58 p.m. Friday at mile marker 217 on East U.S. 56; at 2:47 a.m. Saturday, about a mile east of Dundee on U.S. 56; at 5:21 a.m. Saturday half a mile west of Ellinwood on U.S. 56.
At 11:41 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported that her vehicle was sideswiped by a dark gray truck in the parking lot at Desperado’s night club, 206 North U.S. 281.
A battery was reported at 6:20 p.m. Sunday at the jail.
Fog caused visibility problems on county roads around 6 a.m. Monday. A report of a non-injury accident 5-6 miles north of Chase was referred to Rice County.

Someone damaged the exhaust pipe on a vehicle at 2123 17th St. last Thursday night, it was reported Friday morning.
A counterfeit $50 bill was received at the Kwik Shop, 2334 Main.
Four subjects left Pizza Hut, 4001 10th St., without paying their ball, Friday over the noon hour.
A non-injury accident was reported at 12:59 p.m. on Lakin Ave.
Property stolen in a burglary reported last Wednesday morning at 1447 1/2 16th St. was located Friday at 2407 10th St., collected and booked into evidence.
A known person allegedly shoplifted at Walmart, 3503 10th St.
A counterfeit $20 bill was received at the Baltzell Motel, 705 10th St.
Golden Belt Humane Society was called at 9:31 p.m. Friday to remove a bat from a residence at 2535 Forest Ave. GBHS was called back to the residence at 8:46 p.m. Saturday.
Shoppers report being questioned in the Walmart parking lot around 7:15 p.m. Saturday. The first report came from a man who said a subject was asking people if they go to church. A few minutes later, two people were reportedly asking for money. They left without incident.
A known person was allegedly shoplifting items Sunday at Dillons, 1811 Main.
Damage to the drag strip, 9951 B-29 Way, was reported Sunday.
Vehicles driven by Todd Becker and Kevin Weighous collided at 11:20 a.m. Sunday at 2006 Main.
A gas skip involving a black Ford F-350 extended cab truck was reported at 5:11 p.m. Sunday at 3907 Broadway Ave.
A vehicle driven by Kevin Roberts sideswiped a parked vehicle at 5:36 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of 30th St.
