Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made eight ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

Great Bend Police
Theft of a phone from 520 Odell St. was reported Wednesday.
A known person allegedly stole a computer from Walmart Supercenter, 3503 10th St., on July 30. A Notice To Appear (NTA) in municipal court was signed.
A vehicle driven by Ashlea Mawhirter struck a parked vehicle at 3:56 p.m. at 3323 Forest Ave. Mawhirter went to Great Bend Regional Hospital for a sore knee.
A known person allegedly damaged a door at 2521 Ninth St. An NTA was signed and served.
Someone sprayed paint on a trash receptacle at 712 Holland St.

Barton County Sheriff
A non-injury accident occurred at 11:23 a.m. Wednesday at the school in Otis. Someone in a white truck backed into a parked Pontiac Grand Prix, and the door would not open. The driver left the scene. The call was referred to Rush County.
