The Barton County Health Department reported the first confirmed positive case of coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) in Barton County. Testing was confirmed on Monday, March 30 at 11 a.m.

A non-injury accident was reported in the 1100 Block of East K-4. A vehicle hit a deer.
A non-injury accident was reported at NW 90 Road and NW 100 Ave. A tractor hit a gas line. The call was handled by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
A non-injury accident was reported at mile marker 134 on East K-4. The call was handled by the Kansas Highway Patrol.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 900 Block of NE 100 Ave. A vehicle hit a deer.
