Great Bend Police
A theft was reported Friday at 3600 10th St.
Theft from an individual’s financial account was reported.
A burglary was reported at 705 10th St. Several people allegedly entered Room 7 and took a TV valued at $200.
A counterfeit bill was passed at 2334 Main, it was reported Saturday.
Checks were reportedly stolen from the Post Office.
A vehicle driven by Albert Seidel struck a vehicle driven by Jose Enriquez, who was slowing for traffic, at 12:10 p.m. Saturday in the 2400 block of 10th St.
At 1:25 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle driven by Daniel Rodriguez was southbound in the 2100 block of McKinley St. and struck a vehicle driven by Amanda VanSkike, who was also southbound and slowing down. The first vehicle slid into the ditch and was towed; Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of driving under the influence, open container, no insurance, following too close and no seat belt. He was released Sunday after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a vehicle parked in the 5900 block of Birchwood Dr.
A known person allegedly shoplifted Saturday at 3907 Broadway Ave.

Barton County Sheriff
At 3:34 p.m. Friday, a motorist in a small Toyota car reported that a piece of ice fell off of a red truck and hit her vehicle, breaking the windshield, in the 600 block of East U.S. 56.
At  7:03 p.m., a man reported that a vehicle driven by his wife slid off U.S. 56 at Radium Road and hit a chain link fence.
Theft of a round bale trailer from 161 SW 10 Ave. was reported Sunday.
