Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made four ambulance runs Tuesday and seven Wednesday.
At  7:41 p.m. Wednesday they responded to 5210 10th St., Apartment 9, where there had been a grease fire on the stove. The fire was out when they arrived. Damage was confined to the cabinets and appliances around the stove.

Great Bend Police
A vehicle driven by Toni Guyton was westbound in the 2500 block of 10th St. at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday when it slid on the ice and struck a vehicle driven by Steven Moran, who was stopped in traffic.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 3503 10th St.
A shoplifting was reported at the Dillon’s store at 1811 Main.
A vehicle driven by Rodney Smith slid on ice and snow at 11:07 a.m. Wednesday, and struck a light pole in the 2300 block of Washington St.
Vehicles driven by Michael Menzer and Casey Dittrick collided at 12:07 p.m. at 10th and Eisenhower.
A resident reported finding a bicycle up against his garage in the 2400 block of 21st St. It was booked as “found property.” Other items turned in on Wednesday were a safety deposit key found in the Dillon’s store at 1811 Main, and another bike in the 1700 block of Odell St.
Stolen property from a 2013 was located and collected Wednesday afternoon in the 800 block of Monroe St.
An alleged “computer crime” was occurred at a Great Bend residence.

Barton County Sheriff
A license plate was found in a driveway in the 1400 block of NE 70 Ave. on Tuesday.
Approximately 20 cattle were in the roadway at 7:12 p.m. Wednesday, on SE 50 Road and SE 150 Ave.
