Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made one ambulance run on Friday. There were two fire calls over the weekend.
On Friday units responded to a gas leak at 504 Washington St. Upon arrival units found a gas line had been struck by a bucket on a loader. Firefighters were able to plug the leak until the gas company arrived.
On Sunday units responded to a grass fire at 234 SE 90 avenue for mutual aid upon the request of Ellinwood Fire Department.

Jan. 29
A non-injury accident was reported at 24th St. and Canterbury Lane.
Criminal damage was reported at 514 Cleveland St. A vehicle was keyed.
A non-injury accident was reported at Charlies Place located at 1109 Main St. A vehicle hit a parked vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for a DUI.

Theft of tools and other items was reported at Holiday Apartments located at 5210 10th St.
Burglary was reported at 1600 Frey St. Theft of items from a storage shed.
Fraud was reported at Walmart located at 3503 10th St. A subject was using counterfeit money.

Burglary was reported at Pizza Hut located at 4101 10th St. A vehicle was stolen.
Burglary was reported at 10th and Wilson St. 18 year-old white male entered a vehicle and fled on foot.
Jan. 31
A narcotics violation was reported at 2200 Main St. During a traffic stop, the Great Bend police Department located Marijuana with the use of the Great Bend Police drug dog Lazar.
A narcotics violation was reported at Holiday Apartments located at 5210 10th St.
Burglary was reported at 5221 Eisenhower Ave. A unknown subject cut the screen on a door and entered a residence.
Feb. 1
Theft at Walmart was reported at 3503 10th St. Linda Fernandez was caught stealing items. The items were located in her van. The van was impounded and awaiting a search warrant.
Burglary was reported at 2220 Jackson St. A window in the residence was damaged.
