Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Friday, five Saturday and nine Sunday.
At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, units responded to 5918 Eisenhower to investigate a vehicle fire that had occurred the night before. They found a 2004 Buick Regal parked under the attached carport. It was determined that the fire started as a result of the electrical system malfunction on the power seat on the driver side.
There was a false alarm at 4:08 p.m. Saturday at 5508 Broadway.

A fraud case was reported Friday.
A sex offense was reported Friday.
An alleged shoplifter at The Buckle, 1313 Main, was issued a notice to appear (NTA) in municipal court.
At 12:10 p.m. Friday, a male reported being battered by another male at the Presto-Circle K (Kangaroo Express), 2337 Washington. An NTA was served.
A bike found in the 1200 block of Taft Street was booked into evidence.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked vehicle at 1710 Baker Ave.
A vehicle struck the Kwik Shop building, 3907 Broadway, at 1:24 p.m. Saturday.
A burglary was reported at Family Dollar, 1015 10th St.
An injury accident was reported at 7:26 p.m. Saturday at Kwik Shop No. 747, 2334 Main.
A disturbance was reported at 9:23 p.m. in the vicinity of 12th and Baker. Barton County Sheriff’s Office also responded but did not find anything.
A battery was reported at 10:47 p.m. at 801 Pine Pl.
A fight between two subjects was reported at 12:05 a.m. Sunday at Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main. It was broken up before the officer arrived but a case was taken.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a parked car at 1215 Polk St.
At 6:45 a.m. Sunday, a man who was described as a suspect in a possible fraud case was seen in a vehicle at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The driver and a female passenger were also arrested for possession of drugs.
Someone broke a window at Great Bend Auto Supply (Carquest), 3010 10th St., it was reported Sunday morning.
A male reportedly took three boxes of shoes without paying for them, Sunday afternoon at Hibbett Sports, 3709 10th St.
A woman reported her iPhone being stolen from Walmart, 3503 10th St.
Criminal trespassing was reported at 11:58 p.m. at 1123 Stone St., and a male suspect was arrested for battery.

A burglary was reported Friday at NE 110 Ave. and NE 180 Road. A car battery was stolen.
A theft was reported Saturday afternoon at the Cottonwood student housing building at Barton Community College.
A non-injury accident was reported at 6:07 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of NE 100 Ave., rural Claflin. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A traffic stop at McKinley St. and Railroad Ave. at 3:40 a.m. Sunday resulted in a drunk driving arrest.
A male who came to the Barton County Detention Center Sunday afternoon to serve a sentence reportedly tried sneak prescription medication into the jail via a body cavity.
A vehicle hit a deer at 5:54 p.m. Sunday on the Susank Blacktop near NE 150.
