Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Tuesday. There was one false alarm but no fires.

Kansas Highway Patrol
An injury accident occurred at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday at the U.S. 69, U.S. 400 junction in Crawford County.
A Lincoln Town Car driven by Ronald L. Cauble, 81, of Larned, was southbound on U.S. 69 and failed to yield at the U.S. 400 stop sign. The car was hit by a Ford van driven by Michael J. Hatfield, 39, of Springfield, Mo. Neither driver was injured, but a  passenger in the Town Car, Naomi J. Oppliger, 75, of Frontenac, was taken to Via Christi Medical Center in Wichita with undetermined injuries. All occupants were wearing seat belts.
