Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Wednesday. There were no fires.

At 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, police were notified that a stolen Ford F-350 truck had been recovered by the Barton County Sheriff’s Office.
A burglary was reported at 2609 Tanglewood. Someone took a 5.11-brand bag out of an unlocked pickup sometime Monday night.
A known person was served a notice to appear in municipal court for allegedly stealing fruit from the Dillon’s store at 1811 Main.
A suitcase was found on 18th St.
A hit-and-run vehicle struck a fence in the 1200 block of Sheridan St.
A vehicle driven by Tim Delgado struck a chunk of ice on Main Street near Railroad Ave. at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday.
At 1:42 a.m. Wednesday, a male reported being battered by an unknown suspect in the 700 block of Stone St.
A vehicle driven by Luis Martinez slid on ice at 6:04 p.m. Wednesday and struck a guard rail on 16th St.
A sex offense in the 500 block of Odell St. was reported Wednesday night.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle driven by Randy Haddon was damaged when he swerved to miss a deer at 12:11 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of SE 100 Ave.
