Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Friday, six on Saturday, two on Sunday and four on Monday. There was one fire call.
At 2:04 p.m. Sunday, units responded to the south side of Stone Lake for a grass fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found a small area of grass on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished.

Dec. 30
A non-injury accident was reported at 1220 Madison St.
Criminal damage was reported at Sutherlands located at 5520 10th St. A parking light was shot out.
Theft was reported at 223 5th St. A propane heater was stolen.

Jan. 1
Theft of fuel was reported at Kwik Shop located at 3907 Broadway Ave.
Criminal damage was reported at 1411 Park St. Vehicle window broken out.

Jan. 2
Burglary was reported at 5912 Eisenhower. Power tools were stolen. Total loss $351.
Burglary was reported at 2206 30th St. Wallet stolen from a vehicle. Total loss $830.
A non-injury accident was reported at 5210 10th St.
Theft of a wallet was reported at 1105 Pyle St. Total loss $400.
Theft was reported at Discount Laundry located at 924 Jefferson St. A Pinball machine was broken into. Total loss $50.
