Vehicular burglaries reported
Great Bend Police Department received at least four reports Friday and two Saturday of items being stolen from vehicles.
On Friday, items were reportedly stolen from vehicles at 2222 and 2224 Tyler St., a GPS device and radar detector were taken from a vehicle at 3401 Meadowlark Lane, and a wallet was taken from a vehicle at 2313 Garfield St.
At 4:19 a.m. Saturday, theft of a stereo face plate from a vehicle at 2009 27th St. was reported, and at 11:02 p.m. a woman reported theft of a purse from a vehicle at 2200 Lincoln St.

Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Friday, eight Saturday and five Sunday.
At 9:53 p.m. Friday they checked a smoke smell at an address on Anchor Way.

Vehicles driven by Lindel Thomas and Monta Wolf collided at 9:13 a.m. Friday in the 3300 block of 10th St.
A known person allegedly took a Great Bend resident’s tablet computer and sold it. A notice to appear in municipal court was signed to be served.
Vehicles driven by Addison Baxter and Rosie Hopewell collided at 3:08 p.m. Friday at 19th and Adams.
Vehicles driven by Eric Cape and Douglas State collided at 5:05 p.m. at 11th and Kansas.
A hit-and-run vehicle was westbound in the 4000 block of 10th St. changing lanes at 6:41 p.m. and struck another westbound vehicle driven by Eric Richly.
A vehicle driven by Victor Garcia struck a vehicle driven by Patricia Nicholson, who was stopped in traffic at 11 a.m. Saturday on Lakin Ave.
Someone spray painted graffiti on the side of a garage at 1523 Morton St.
Vehicles driven by Levi Schneider and Kevin Davidson collided at 2:41 p.m. Saturday at 2027 Morton St.
A vehicle driven by Glenn Lewis struck a parked vehicle at 6:23 p.m. Saturday in the 2500 block of 11th St. Lewis was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and transporting an open container, in lieu of $1,000 bond.
Notices to appear in municipal court were served Saturday night after two men were seen fighting in the 2600 block of Washington Ave.
A female was evaluated and transported to Larned State Hospital late Sunday morning after reportedly making statements of harming herself.
A hit-and-run vehicle backed into a parked vehicle in the parking lot at 3504 10th St.
Someone broke the mirror on a vehicle at 3216 18th St.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle hit a raccoon Friday evening in the 300 block of East U.S. 56. It was reported shortly before 4 p.m. on Saturday.
A truck was found sideways in the ditch just south of North Washington Ave. and NW 30 Road at 9:32 p.m. Saturday.
A sheriff’s vehicle hit a deer around 1:26 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of SE 50 Road.
