Great Bend Police
At 3:11 p.m. Tuesday, an individual reported Travis Beal had violated a protection from abuse order and threatened another person in the 1900 block of 16th St. He was arrested and transported to the jail, where he was booked in lieu of bond. He was also charged with obstruction and battering a law enforcement officer.
Vehicles driven by Pamala Elson and Aston Wilburn collided at 3:31 p.m. in the 2500 block of Lakin Ave.
An officer heard a loud bang at 7:18 p.m. in the 3600 block of Broadway Ave. but did not find the source of the disturbance.
Someone cut the tires on a vehicle parked at 1209 Macarthur Road, it was reported Tuesday night.

Barton County Sheriff
At 8:25 a.m. Tuesday, theft of a 2007 Toyota Tundra was reported. It was allegedly stolen from 1006 SE 30 Road by an employee, about 10 minutes after the suspect was laid off.
An animal control officer at the Golden Belt Humane Society, 151 South U.S. 281, requested extra patrols Tuesday after expressing concern that an individual might attempt to break into the shelter during the night and retrieve his impounded dog.
A Kenworth truck driven by Garland Tucker, Riverview, Fla., hit a deer at 9:58 p.m. Tuesday on K-156 near NE 120 Ave.
