Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made seven ambulance runs Monday.
At 7:03 a.m., firefighters were called to the 300 block of NE 20 Road, where a box was smoldering in a ditch. The fire was extinguished and no other hazards were found.

A burglary was reported Monday at 2432 Shawnee Dr.
Cash was stolen from a vehicle at 3712 Lakin Ave.
A Ruger 9 mm handgun was reportedly stolen from 2007 26th St.
A boys 20-inch bicycle was found in the 1200 block of Jackson St., collected by police and place into evidence.

Barton County Sheriff
A “Road Closed” barricade and light were stolen from SE 50 Road and SE 100 Ave., it was reported Monday morning.
