An Ellsworth woman was taken to Salina Regional Health Center with a possible injury on Monday after a one-vehicle accident on K-14 in Saline County, two miles east of Brookville. Bridget T. Vanek, 63, was driving a Buick Luceren at 3:54 p.m. when she reached for something in the vehicle, which veered to the right. She over-corrected to the left, exiting the road and striking a tree. She was wearing a seat belt.
Great Bend Police
Someone broke a window on the business at 1800 Kansas Ave., it was discovered Monday. Loss was $1,500.
A vehicle driven by Rochelle Young was making a left turn onto McKinley from 4107 10th St. at 10:18 a.m. Monday and struck a vehicle driven by Dorothy Piland, who was southbound on McKinley.
A hit-and-run driver was westbound on Broadway at 12:10 p.m. and struck another westbound vehicle, driven by Lisa Essmiller, then left the scene.
Theft of medication from 3503 10th St. on June 27 was reported Monday.
An Apple iPhone was stolen from 2920 10th St. Loss was $500.
A vehicle driven by Sherri Wade was eastbound in the 4100 block of 10th St. at 4:44 p.m. and rear-ended a vehicle driven by Barbara Craven, who was making a right turn.

Fences/gates were damaged in the 10 block of SE 80 Ave. and Barton County Road, it was reported Monday. A deer feeder was stolen.
